The collimating machine is analyzed by mathematical calculation, and also by FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulation with the constructed model. The results are helpful for the aim of designing a lightweight launching system.The stiffness and strength of the major components are analyzed. The distribution of displacement and that of stress verify the reasonability of the structure design of the launch platform.For finding and avoiding the internal over-stress in the launch platform, the structural analysis is performed and an optimized structure is proposed. The optimization results show that the stiffness and strength of the launch platform of the collimating machine can meet the demand. |
