Since 1980's,the main of light automobile manufacturing enterprises in China introduced from JA NHR, they have been constructed and developed for several decades, but the management levels of enterprises are not high. Various wastes are very serious in the manufacturing process, and the labor productivity per capita is lower with foreign counterparts. The interior trim assembling line of the enterprises is of low productivity, reflected in the complexity of the concrete operation of workers, long waiting time in the operation, lack of standardized operation processes, and unbalanced production line. It cries for improving every unreasonable issues in the interior trim assembling line and increasing its efficiency by using IE techniques. This is the discuss background of this dissertation.Industrial Engineering is an interdisciplinary subject integrated with technology and management. It could re-optimize and allocate the existing men, materials, equipments, energy and information within a certain production system, so as to cut down costs, improve the productivity, ensure the quality and safety, and achieve the overall efficiency in the case of little increase in the production resources. Linking theory with practice, based on the analysis of a great amount of literatures, and referring to the latest researches and applications in IE field at home and abroad, this dissertation deals with the systematic analysis and improvement of automobile interior trim assembling line in the enterprise.First of all, this dissertation expatiates the development status of the Industrial Engineering technology and measurement at home and abroad; introduces its application in automobile industry; summarizes the concept, the content and the function of IE fundamentals and its status, function and characteristics in automobile industry; analyzes the factors affect the productivity from men-machine-environment aspects; put forward the basic principles and its circular improving process of assembling line improvement, and settles down the research contents and key techniques in this dissertation. Next, researching on the 24 operating positions in the automobile interior trim assembling line in the enterprise,this dissertation analyzes the layout of assembly shop, plots the circuit diagram and the flow process chart, investigates the current situation in details and the data collection, determines the target of improvement, completes the facility improvement, the associated operation analysis, the analysis of personnel working process, the two-hand activity analysis, and the therblig analysis for bottleneck operating positions. Finally, this dissertation set down the standard operating time by MOD method, establishes the whole process of system improvement for assembling line manufacturing system, and analyzes and evaluates the improvement effectiveness. According to the principle of motion efficiency, this dissertation accomplishes the improvement for the automobile interior decoration assembling line process such as elimination, combination, rearrangement and simplification, the production tack decreased to 150s from 200s, The systematic improvement has achieved significant results without any resource investment.The research in this dissertation is based on the traditional manual assembling line; and the main techniques used in this dissertation come from the classic Japanese-style practices of industrial engineering fundamental.Therefore, the research findings in this dissertation could make reference to the on-site improvement of similar assembling lines in various types of automobile manufacturing enterprises.
