As world city traffic increased traffic jams is becoming a worldwide problem. Giving priority to the development of public transport can ease traffic congestion, at the same time, this kind of traditional traffic type still exist deficiencies, such as high construction cost, long construction cycle, noise, vibration and other ecological environmental impact, not to be possessed by individuals and destinations reached point-to-point indirectly. Therefore, the whole world is trying to explore new traffic form which is economic and energy saving. PRT is fit for bigger transportation, safe, efficient, low noise and low pollution, land-saving and automatic operation, PRT not only solve the problem operating point-to-point which the subway cannot have, but have a large number of advantages of the car.Firstly, this paper discusses the development of suspended PRT. And then mainly discuss the selection of structural, load combinations, load analysis of the structure. Based on the analysis of the structure, this paper optimizes the design of the system, and Staffing structure calculation program of suspended PRT. The author completed structure design by ANSYS software mainly and MTS software auxiliary. The author analyzed force performance of different span structure and compared the economic technology with suspension steel bridge.In view of the present Chinese cities actuality such as developed automation, heavy traffic, traffic pollution, developing the system is of far-reaching significance.
