Study On Brt Site Facilities's Systemtically Design Of Kunming

China has been in the Large-scale construction of Urbanization, the city-wide has been expanded generally, thus, it proposed new requirements to the City Passenger Transport system. Governments of all levels have been realized that the severity of the city transport problem, also take every measure to solve it. Though, the measures have been focused on the road-construction, blindness road-wide in order to the fast growth of the motor production, regarding the road-wide as the only way to solve the traffic problem.The new traffic form which called BRT has born. The construction and perfection of the whole site has been taken an important influence of the whole BRT system. But, several examples of BRT construction have been proved that only rely on the solution of road-wide would not satisfied the need of the Sustainable Development, on the converse the result sometimes shows counterproductive. Nowadays, the BRT system, being taken widespread attention and recognition has been overcome the shortcomings of traditional traffic system, becoming the effective tools for perfecting the city transportation.The research projects are combined with the actual project for the transformation of Kunming BRT to provide the design of the facility. Introduction Chapter I describes the background to the subject and related concepts defined. The second chapter is the studyof this project. And analyzed the BRT development gap at home and abroad that the system design point of view must be used to study and design of BRT site facilities. And in this chapter concludes with specific methods for system design. The third chapter, on the use of the BRT system design point of view to conduct design studies. Pairs of design elements, design methods, and means are discussed. ChapterⅣof each element against the use of BRT in other cities made a survey. The final chapter is based on the analysis of the design decisions and programs.
