And it can play a design guide and inspiration for other productsThis paper uses the method of document indexing, morphological analysis and design, form description and analog. It subjects to a number of theoretical guidance, such as psychology, consumer psychology, product form art, configuration design, design constitution, human engineering and color design, etc.And it systematicly researches and explans on the form design of "miniaturization"combined with large amounts of data and small household electrical appliances examples.First of all this papers defines and explans the the conception and form characteristics of "mini" and "miniaturization". And then represents the conception of product form and small household electrical appliances "miniaturization" of related concepts.This paper analyses and explores the main factors which impact on small household electrical appliances "miniaturization"design and design concepts.Secondly, this paper put forward three principles of "miniaturization" design.That are: (1) focusing on scale of "miniaturization", seizing the contact scale with other shape elements(configuration, materials, structure, etc.) to design; (2) grasping of form design of the three functions which are physical, physiological and psychological function of "miniaturization" The realization of "miniaturization" in addition to the form itself play a direct role in the physical function, the form of the physiological functions and mental function also play a vital role. That means the man-machine relationship and product of visual and perception also have a major impact on "miniaturization"; (3) At the same time, form design is also to follow the laws of formal beauty.Finally, the study of the "miniaturization" design methods, involving four aspects of form design elements which is scale, configuration, materials and colors. It can be summed up simply:reduction of scale; the conversion of configuration and structure (including changing body, thinning, combination and folding); material changing (including changing the material, surface treatment technology changing, the visual characteristics of the material choices); color adjustment (including a larger effect on "miniaturization" design of the color options methods, which are a sense of expansion and contraction, a sense of light and heavy,a sense of dynamic and warm).
