With the development of power industry in the city of Dongguan and the improvement of the electricity market, how to improve the reliability of uninterrupted power supply receives more and more attention. In the modern power system distribution network, to improve the reliability of power supply and meet the power system's economic operation, the connection of the distribution network is usually designed as closed-loop and operated as open-loop. Substation in the open-loop operation are often equipped with BZT device. When a power failure happens because of the main supply's power failure, the device, whose investment criteria is met, will be prepared from the cast action and closes the standby power. Thereby the user's power supply is restored immediately.Firstly ,this paper introduces some concepts about the function and characteristics of BZT, the operation principle and the input methods. At the same time, this paper analyses some main impacts that affect the rate of movements correctly and the rate of operation. So we know ,safety devices and overload problems are the two important factors that affects the rate of operation, and the logic and parameter settings of he device itself directly affect the rate of movements correctly. Then, this paper analyses the present application status of the Dongguan Power Supply Bureau in-depth. Finally, basing on the specific problems that meets in the actual operation of Dongguan 10kV BZT device, many solutions are bringde up for each of specific issues, and the choice is optimized too, thus putting forward the method that can improve the logic which kan increase the ability of automatic adaptive ,meanwhile, a simulation analysis about the improved logic is carried out.
