It is the improvement of 3C technology (communication, computer and control), as well as growing of fault tolerant technology and reliability technology that contributes to the development of train control technology. As a result, Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) system, with its unique advantage, is widely used in urban rail transit, and becoming the main developing field within train control system. Meanwhile computer interlocking system, as one of the key equipments, assuring safety of train operation, also plays its important role.Due to the implementation of moving block technology, CBTC system allows higher density and less interval time of trains, leading to much higher efficiency. However Chinese scientists lost at the start line of researching in CBTC, though currently with some positive achievements, there is still a long way to go to catch up with counter parts in developed countries. So it is vitally important to learn and understand international cutting-edge technology and then develop mature CBTC system with self owned copyrights.In terms of this thesis, automatic design of route control logic expression is the target, and interlocking system of CBTC is the object, at the background of urban rail transit. Firstly it briefly analysed urban rail transit CBTC system, researched in new features of interlocking system of CBTC, which was compared with traditional interlocking system, and analysed information transmission among other subsystems, especially zone controller. Based on the features of urban rail transit interlocking system, this thesis focused on the analysis of functionality of route control, and put forward the general design rules to satisfy different scenarios through the research and analysis of the route control logic. Then, according to the requirement, interlocking data structure was designed, and route was chosen by depth-first-search algorithm, to build interlocking table automatically. Meanwhile according to logic rules, each logic module was designed and corresponding expression was automatically generated by VBA.Lastly, based on a certain subway interlocking area, route control logic automatic design tool was applied. Interlocking table and route control logic were automatically generated. The result was analyzed and verified in multiple conditions.
