Be greatly enriched in the material life of today's,the modern consumers have not been satisfied with the general living consumption for a long time. They began to be in infinite pursuit of the spiritual life, therefore, the material consumption patterns in the past, are now change into the spiritual and emotional consumption. Under the influence of post-modernism in the west design ideas,the people are increasingly in pursuit of the display of self personality,and more interested in the design of unique creativity, popular shape and special materials, which makes the original design, with single, strict and orthodoxy, has become increasingly diverse and complex. The essence is that people seeking a manifestation of self-pleasure. Under this background,in order to meet the sentimental needs of modern consumers, we should dare to seek for novelty and difference, and advocate the concept design of creative thinking as the main body.The CD products, as a product of spiritual and cultural life,the functional requirements of its simple packaging are not satisfied by the people ,which will make its packaging design more aesthetic and more creative in order to meet the spiritual and sentimental needs of consumers .Of all the designs ,the concept design is precisely the most creative part, therefore, the CD product, as the outcome of the spirit, if the concept design is used in its packaging, and if people can combine them into an organic one, the consumers will definitely be satisfied with both the internal content and its external vision.Based on this,this paper will analyze the research of the concept design of the CD product as deeply as possible, which will be clarified by the awareness and comprehension of the concept design and the exploration of the aesthetic mentality of the consumers. Firstly, this paper which will be based on the former study of the concept design, and then analysis the basic theory of the concept design. Secondly, analysis the consumer's aesthetic psychology of the concept design of the CD packaging to help the designers better grasp the starting point of the packaging design of the CD product. Then, after analyzing the characteristics of concept design thinking and thinking types, I will study the methods of the concept design, and change the abstract design theory into the specific design tools. Finally, the theory will be integrated used in practice, and a complete concept design of CD products will be made.
