| Using industrial dimethyldiallylammonium chioride(DMDAAC) and modifying monomer 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl triallylammonium chloride(CHTAAC), N,N-dially-3-hydroxy-azetidinium chloride(DHAC) prepared in laboratory as raw materials, two series of novel color-fixing agent of modified PDM(the main structures of them are poly-dimethyldiallylammonium chioride) with different molecular weight,different functional groups and different proportion of the functional groups were synthesized,and the preparation process conditions were studied in this paper.Firstly,a novel monomer CHTAAC with cross-linking functional group was synthesized, then a series of new color-fixing agents of crosslink-modified PDM(PDC) with different molecular weight,different functional groups and different proportion of the functional groups were synthesized through copolymerization of DMDAAC and CHTAAC,and the optimal copolymerization process was studied.The synthetic products were used to treat the samples of cotton fibrics which were dyed by Remazol 3BS Brilliant Red.The results showed that the optimal process conditions were that mass portion of initial monomer was 45.0%~55.0%,reaction temperature was 60℃,mass ratio of Ammonium persulfate to monomer was 0.5%,reaction time was 4~6 h,the mass concentration of Ammonium persulfate solution was 0.2 g/mL,the molar portion of CHTAAC was below 3%,The conversion rate of monomer of this optimal process was more than 90%,and the intrinsic viscosity of the products ranged from 0.198 dL/g to 0.745 dL/g.The colour fastness of PDC to wet rubbing was 3,the colour fastness to dry rubbing was 4.Secondly,a novel monomer DHAC with active functional groups was synthesized,and then the optimal copolymerization process of DMDAAC and DHAC was studied.The results showed that the optimal process conditions were that mass portion of initial monomer was 40.0%~47.5%,reaction temperature was 60℃,mass ratio of Ammonium persulfate to monomer was 0.5%,reaction time was 4~6 h,The conversion rate of monomer of this optimal process was more than 92%,and the intrinsic viscosity of the products ranged from 0.177 dL/g to 0.309 dL/g.Two novel monomers CHTAAC,DHAC and the copolymers of them with DMDAAC were synthesized in this paper,and the color-fixing performance of PDC was good.The above work could be a good basement for the further research of modified formaldehyde-free color-fixing agent PDM. |
