The ability of experiment has become one of the most important symbols to measure the comprehensive ability of chemistry majors. For this reason, each university makes great effort to carry on the reform to promote the experimental capabilities of students in terms of experiment Curriculum setting, contents and goals, experimental Resources, teaching models and evaluation Methods. However, the author has found that there are many learning obstacles during the experimental learning, which can effect the experimental and innovation capabilities of students, by means of interviews, observation, and questionnaire investigation. Therefor, the author investigated the reasons of learning obstacles and put forward some related strategies to avoid learning obstacles through theoretical analysis and empirical research. The results are as follows:1 Main obstacle in experimental learning(1) Narrow access to get information;(2) Serious obstacles in the course of information processing;(3) Hard to move and unanalog method;(4) The lack of agility coordination and planning.2 Main reasons for learning obstacles(1) The lack of the awareness of question;(2) The lack of divergent thinking;(3) A lower level of meta-cognition;(4) The lack of timely feedback and corrective training;(5) The lack of experimental teaching methods.3 Stategies to avoid learning obstacles(1) Reveal the experimental obstacles to change the desire;(2) Strengthen the awareness of question and the training of divergent thinking;(3) Strengthen the drilling action to avod obstacles;(4) Creat real situation to promote the integration of thinking and action;(5) Strengthen the training of feedback control to guide the initiative.
