Ecological Demonstration Areas For Sustainable Development Evaluation

Based on extensive and all-round research documents and selecting six county of Baoji city as study ease, the treatise looks insight into comprehensive evaluation of ecological demonstration area sustainable development, then sets up a sustainable development indicators'system of Baoji city. After the appraisement of six county of Baoji city sustainable development status, the article brings forward some suggestions about how does Baoji city keeps sustainable development in environment, society and economy.At first, the treatise reviews the contents of comprehensive evaluation of ecological demonstration area sustainable development in China and other countries, which gives the background of theories and methods study for the paper as whole. On the basis of theory and practice study home and abroad, builds up the indictors'system of Baoji ecological demonstration area sustainable development. It is composed of 3 levels and 19 indexes. By combing both subjective and objective methods to determine the weights of different indexes, the appraisal results are more reasonable and reliable. ANP(the Analytic Network Process) is chosen to weight indexes objectively thus getting rid of the constraining condition that all of the index should be independent. Principal Component Analysis is chosen as a subjective appraisal tool to weight different indexes. To calculate plan datum year, short-term, intermediate stage and a prospect goal year sustainable development value. In the datum year, the sustainable development value of Linyou county, Feng county and Chencang county are bigger than 0.5, belong to the elementary stage of sustainable development. Fengxiang county, Qianyang county and Long county belong to the non- sustainable development stage. This showing no differences with the basic conditions of the six county. The datum indicates the sustainable development values of six ecological demonstration area are rise year after year. If the ecological demonstration area construction will carry out on time, it will push on the regional sustainable development.
