Therefore, we must first understand the quality of urban ecological environment, the sustainability of these is to develop ecological and environmental protection measures and the restoration of the foundation. To this end, the establishment of a scientific and practical on the city's ecological environment quality evaluation indicators and evaluation methods is essential.This paper refers extensively to ecological environment quality evaluation of research results of our country and abroad. Taking Linyi City as a study target, qualitative and quantitative follow the principle of combinition a sustainable development mainly based on the theory put forward an evaluation index system, the main points Indicators for sustainable social groups, resources, and environmental sustainability indicators, of sustainable economic indicators; Linyi City with the characteristics of the ecological environment, the establishment of four Evaluation Group, has selected 24 evaluation index, the use of AHP Weight indicators, the city's ecological environment suitable for the use of the index model for quality evaluation of the status quo. The results show that the city of Linyi city's ecological environment, suitable for the composite index of 0.801, reached two standards that Linyi City in good ecological environment, economic, social, environmental or relatively coordinated, sustainable development is good, but ,there is still a considerable distance from a standard of showing a gap between the social, economic and natural environment of the coordination of the balanced development of good posture.
