Of Ecological Rationality

With the worse of eco-problem, the realization of human being for ecological crisis, existent crisis and the relation between human being and the nature has become more and more deep. Superficially, the reason for ecological crisis at present is the flood of anthropocentrism. However, it is the result of the change of thinking mode in essence. For knowing and resolving the eco-problem completely, we must not only get out of the appearance of the worse of relation between human being and the nature but also discuss the deep change of people's thinking mode. In the modern time, the status of reason has become higher so that the essence of reason has changed completely. The reason has become the movement of human being instead of god while the maximal reason which combining human being and the sacred universe has been eclipsed. With the rapid development of industry and economical globalization, the eco- problem becomes worse. As a result, people become realize that the reason choice must consider the ecological crisis as well as ethic and morality. In addition, a new reason thinking mode is required for the protection of ecological environment. Therefore, eco-reason appeared for it is a rational choice.This essay firstly elaborates the relationship among unilateral development of the implemental reason, anthropocentrism and the ecological crisis. It also discusses the ecological requirement of the view of sustainable and scientific development and proposes the necessity of eco-reason. Secondly, the connotation, basis, principle, spirit, request and aim of eco-reason is talked which are based on the definition of eco-reason is from implemental and value reason. Because of the common value and special status of the sustainable development between human and nature, this essay elaborates most on the point of the practice value of eco-reason from the angle of view of value, economy, politics and culture. Lastly, it discussed the application in reality of eco-reason and its development from the following three aspects: the eco-outlook under eco-reason, establishing the eco-sense of the sustainable development, and the subject in era of eco-culture which is also called eco-reason people. To reply these existent problems indicates the necessity and significance of discussing and researching of eco-reason.
