The landfill site in the eastern suburb of Kunmimg is the major unit to treat the municipal garbage. To work out the leachate diffusion mathematics model will help to foresee the environmental implication and will play a key role in environmental protection for Kunming city and building a modern new Kunming.Research results of leachate diffusion mathematics models both home and abroad are introduced in this paper. On the basis of above results, the leachate diffusion in the said landfill site is researched in the paper. First, the forming, composition, character and environment implication of leachate have analyzed. Then the output of leachate has estimated according to the experience. At last the mathematics model of leachate diffusion have established according to hydromechanics, the formula of pollution diffusion and the research of result of other researchers, Finally calculation has been conducted to test the established model by some date..Some research results of leachate diffusion mathematics model for the landfill site have obtained, including the leachate volatilization and diffusion model, leachate diffusion models for the earth and underground water. Eventually, an integrated model has been obtained, which will have guidance meanings and give some references for evaluating the environment implication and the pollution degree. The calculated results show that the underground water around the landfilling site has been polluted to some extend.
