| In this paper, an actual engineering project of hot strip mill in the field of metallurgy was researched and developed. According to analyzing formations and functions of the equipments, and technology and control demands in coilbox, it puts out a whole designing solution of automation system.Several aspects of researchers and developments have been described as follow:1. In technology, the latest technology of mandreless coil transfer and new forming theory were developed and adopted, and a mathematics model was developed. It makes control system more reasonable and optimized.2. In the hardware configuration design of the system, distribute I/O structure was used. It makes the structure brief. In the same time, the goals of the lower cost and the shorter time of installation have been reached.3. In the software design of the system, the characters of online project and large automation control system was well considered. The application achievements of computer technology have been adopted, Several communication networks, structure programming, sequence skill, and the method of artificial intelligence were used. A set of serious and normal standard was formed to develop the software. In this application software , several general subroutine programs were successfully developed and used.4. In the Human Machine Interfaces, Intouch V7. 10 was used. It is convenient for operator to use. The graphs of Human Machine Interfaces are brief and succinct. |
