| Because of the auto panels' characteristics, the development cycle of new type car lies on the stamping processes of the auto panels. It needs a rapid , effective and reliable methods to replace the traditional methods of designing auto panels' die. Numerical simulation seems the best selection.The process of sheet metal forming, include geometrical unlinearity, material unlinearity and contact unlinearity ,is a very complex dynam process. So this subject concerns many disciplines. It builds up mathematical model including all sorts of factors; Ensures the homologous borderline and initial condition; chooses suitable material model and yield criterion; selects suitable unit type about the dies and sheet under the requisition of design and compute precision; divides grids and proceeds number value calculation adopting finite element analysis software. All the above-mentioned content is the key of this paper.The paper found the elastoplasticity finite element system based on the characteristics of the panels forming and the big forming elastoplasticity theory. And some key technologies of computer simulation in sheet metal forming are studied, too. For example, the choice of yield criterion and the type of element, the disposal of contact, ect. Finally, based on the experience and the figure of the part, add the addendum profile for the part and found the finite element model of the part. By testing the panel of drawing, the paper got the mechanical properties parameters, which give the credible parameters for simulation. And the author had produced some parts. By comparing the results from simulation with the real part, the paper proved the result form simulation was right. The paper got the rule between draw bead force and draw bead geometry and right draw bead geometry and location for the part by the results form examinations and analysis. The paper optimized the draw force and die's filleted corner by reiterative examinations, too. The paper also got the rule between the part forming and the parameters of hardenability yalue, yield strength and lankford.By the detailed analysis and cooperation, this subject simulated the forming processes of the part can really reflect the whole part forming processes. It offers the reliable emulation tool and good way of thinking for the design and amends of the part's die, at the same time, it offers the credibility evidence of choosing material for the part drawing.
