Oil fingerprints technique is based on oil fingerprints differences of individual zone and fingerprint variation characteristics of commingled oil, combined with the technology of whole-oil GC analysis, the random GC fingerprint differentia selection, and a numeric model calculating by the least square method. Based on the oil fingerprints technique, the multi-oil production analysis software is developed. Using whole-oil GC analysis, differentiations were made on the fingerprints of oils from Jurassic and Cretaceous reservoirs in LuLiang oilfield, the cause behind the differences among the fingerprints was analyzed, and the selection of fingerprints for each pay zone was made. In addition, formulation experiments were carried about for cases of commingled production from two and three pay zones, and the contribution allocation of individual pay zone was calculated using the Multi-oil production analysis software. The results showed that the errors between artificial formulation and oil fingerprints calculation are less than 10% for two zones commingled oil well, while they are less than 15% for three zones commingled oil well. Besides, the errors between fingerprints calculation result and production logging result are less than 10% too. So this software using the oil fingerprints technology can be used to calculate the contribution of individual zone in commingled oil well, and monitors the performance of individual oil producing zone.
