| The problem of swelling rock is the most complex subject in the field of today's engineering geology and rock mechanics .For a long time , many people working in mining, hydroelectric power ,tunneling and rock mechanics did lots of research on swelling theory and support of swelling rock , but till today ,there aren't perfect theory and effect method to solve the problem.The author have done a series of research on swelling granite from Tangziao mining area of Yunnan Tin co, .Ltd . At first , analyzing deformation characteristics of working made up of granite ; Second , choosing representative samples to do in-house experiments , which include component detection , structural analysis , swelling and wet characteristics of the samples ; Then analyzing instability mechanism of granite workings based on the result of the experiments ; At last , putting forward measures to solve the problem.According to the research on mechanism of failure by deformation and analyze corresponding measures , author gets the following conclusions . Granite of Tangziao mining area belongs to easy weathering and medium soft swelling rock ; Weathering and swelling meeting with water together with disturb when excavating result in the reduce of strength ,which lead to failure by deformation of workings ; Grouting to stop water ,smooth wall blasting and shotcrete and bolt support together can be used to solve the problem. |
