Tebufenozide is the pesticide, which has been used widely in China. The application of tebufenozide in agriculture in China synthesization technics pesticidal mechanism as well as the impact on environment and non-target organism was summarized in this paper. The widely used reason of tebufenozide in China is its long effect on killing many kinds of pests, which made the research on its degradation principle in the environment, especially in water necessary. Therefore, the degradation in different water phrase of tebufenozide was studied in this paper.In this article, the degradation impact on temperature and pH was studied first. The result showed that the impact of temperature on the degradation of tebufenozide in water was in accordance with vanhone theory. That is to say higher temperature can accelerate the degradation rate. The velocity was increased by 30% when the temperature was increased 10C. In buffer solution which pH were 5, 6, 7 8, 9 10 respectively, the degradation velocity of tebufenozide increased with the increase of pH. Alkaline circumstance was beneficial to the degradation of tebufenozide which the trend of degradation in acid and neutral circumstance was similar. The increase of pH can greatly promote the degradation of tebufenozide in alkaline circumstance.There are many organic and inorganic materials in natural water, such as Sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate(SDBS), humic acid and NaNO3 and so on. So in this article the impact of them on degradation of tebufenozide was researched. The result of the experiment showed that the degradation rate of tebufenozide was improved with the SDBS and NaNO3, the degradation rate was restrained.The impact of degradation from all the material can't affect separately, so the degradation of tebufenozide in natural water was researched in the article. The degradation difference of tebufenozide between the natural water, which was pulled out from Pankeng Fountain in Meizhou and the second purified water was researched. The result showed that the degradation rate of tebufenozide in the fountain was fast very much and in the fourth day 90% was degraded. The degradation rate in the fountain water which has been foiling for half an hour was faster than in the second purified water.Tebufenozide is used widely in China, so we should know not only the rule of degradation in the water but also the outcome in the water to evaluate whether it was friend to the environment. Therefore, the identification of outcome was done in this article. Gas chromatogram/mass chromatogram was used and 3,5-dimethyl benzoic acid was checked out. The pure 3.5 was tested by HPLC, test circumstance was as same as the HPLC circumstance of degradation outcome and we get the same retain time of 3,5-dimethyl benzoic acid. Compared with the two output we can conclude 3,5-dimethyl benzoic acid was appeared in the degradation outcome.
