Aimed at the low system efficiency of pumping wells, this thesis analyzes the composing of system efficiency in detail, establishes a computing model on subsystem efficiency in rod pumping system, and computes the output power of every part using the equipment parameters and test data of equipment. For the well with low efficiency, this thesis uses efficiency model to compute the value of every composition and the relevant parameter, thus people may take corresponding measures to solve it. If the swab parameters and equipment need be modified, the combination of the production and efficiency through weights will be the optimization object function. Different weights can design different schemes to gain more production, even higher system efficiency. This thesis establishes five optimization design models: the uniform strength design, the rod design, the specify production design, the specify parameter design, and specify frequency of stroke design. Selecting different design methods may establish scheme in reason.This thesis is based on the theory of system engineering and the new techniques of modern oil production, and the economic and system benefit is its objects. This thesis studies the theories, methods and measures of enhanced system efficiency during the reservoir exploitation, and forms a set of operable patterns, including the analysis, test, monitoring, prediction and enhancement of system efficiency. These operable patterns can reliably analysis the system efficiency of pumping wells in time, also can carry on the optimization designs. This provides a useful tool to improve the scientific management of the rod pumping system.
