Although the outPut of polyamide increases very slowly in the world, it has beenkeeping a high increasing in China and eastem and southern Asia at present and thissituation will last some period. Bat on the other hand, the surplus polyamide products inother Asian countries will pour illto Chinese market with the China's entry of WTO. So,the competition of polyamide products in the market will be more fierce compared withother synthesized fibers, and it is far away from the demand of market fOr us to producecommon polyamide products only It is inexorable trend to develop diverse polyamideresins and fibers in order to promote the competitiveness of our products and makemuch profit. On the basis of discussing the developmellt of antistatic and amibacterialpolyamide generally in past decades, the anistatic and anibacterial methods andtechnologies of synthetic fibers are suxnmarzed emphasisly in this paPerA series of PCANEG block copolymers are synthesized by tWo steps. Firstly, thebicarboxy-terminated preformed polyamide is synthesized. Secondly,it esterificates andpolycondensates with polyethylene glycol. The reaction mechanism is researched as thetheoretic basis of amplifying tests. The optimal reaction conditions are obtained byamPlifying and optimum tests in l0L cauldron. The relative viscosity of PCANEGblock copolymers can be stablized in the range from 2.0 to 2.3 in repeated tests, and theamPlifying tests can be repeated accuratelyThe mechanical and amistatic properties and microstates of blend are researchedWhen the ratio of PA6 to PCA/PEG b1ock copolyTner varies. The experimental resultsshow that the blend has worse rigidity, better fiexibility and better antistatic properties,and there is no macro-separation bllt only micro-separation between PA6 state and blockcopolymer state in any way, with the percent of PCA/PEG block copolymer increasing.The aPpropriate surface-active ageni and its conteni are obtained, which have the jointalltistatic effect with the block copolymer. The results show that the sruface-active agentD can enhance the antistatic effect of the block copolyttier when its content is 2%~3%.So, a kind of antistatic po1yamide has been developed, which has excellent and lastingantistatic properties and on which the humidity of surroundings has little effect. Theantistatic properties, rheological properties and microstates of this material areresearched in detail.On the basis of antistatic polyamide developed in previous paPer Which is made upof PCA/PEG block copolymer and PA6, the antibacterial agent and its amount areselected.The multi-functional polyamide with both lasting antistatic function and goodantibacterial fimction is obtained, by adding 0.5% antibacterial agent Yl to antisatticsystem. The mechanical, amistatic properties and microstates of this material areresearched.
