Application Performance Of Polyester/Polyamide Block Copolymer Fabrics

Based on the determination of the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the modified polyester and shrinkage rate in boiling water of the modified polyester and its blended fabrics, disperse dyes dyeing properties of the modified polyester at atmospheric pressure were researched, and disperse/reactive dyes one-bath one-step dyeing properties of modified polyester/cotton blended fabric were discussed.Experimental results have shown that Tg of modified polyester was60℃, which declined by about10℃than that of conventional polyester. After heat setting, shrinkage rates in boiling water of modified polyester and the conventional polyester were less than5%. Under the same conditions, alkaline hydrolysis rate of modified polyester was higher than that of conventional polyester. The SEM results have shown that modified polyester surface appeared etching.Using the traditional dyeing process of disperse dyes (including Techcron E-RPD, Dianix UN-SE, Longsheng series dyes) dyeing on the fabrics, K/S values of modified polyester dyeing at100℃were higher than that of conventional polyester dyeing at130℃. And Dianix Yellow UN-SE and disperse red FB were not suitable for alkaline dyeing. Drimaren XN series reactive dyes were suitable for one-bath one-step dyeing of modified polyester/cotton blended fabrics.K/S values of one-bath one-step dyeing and two-bath dyeing of modified polyester/cotton blended fabrics were similar. Rubbing fastness, ironing fastness and light fastness of two dyeing method were in4-5grade, which achieved color fastness requirements of the polyester/cotton blended fabrics.
