Recently the development of a new-type organophosphorous pesticide with ternary asymmetric structure and heterocycle structure has been very active. What is called ternary asymmetric with phosphorus atoms connected to three structurally different basic masses respectively. That is to say, such a pesticide does not have any resistance as the conventional phosphorous pesticide. The heterocycle basic mass has a singular advantage when adopted in a pesticide molecular structure because of its singular structure and nature. Fosthiazate is an organophosphorate compound having ternary asymmetric structure with heterocycle basic mass. That is why it is a very good nematocide. This paper mainly discusses the synthesis of fosthiazate and its intermediates. It has improved experiments of 2-thiazolidinethione, thus obtaining better technology. It has also made further research into our one-step synthesis of 2-thiazolidinethione. This paper gives several methods to synthesize 2-thiazolidinone, has been characterizes its structure by way of IR, NMR and GC-MS and makes further research into its technology, thus obtaining better synthesizing conditions. According to the experimental results, how to synthesize fosthiazate is studied tentatively. According to concerned papers, we make our own way of synthesizing fosthiazate, that gives better results, therefore it has made good foundation to produce industrially.
