Three-dimensional Weaving Of Weft Knitted Fabric And Its Cad System

This paper presents the CAD system of 3D fully-fashioned knitted fabrics.Several mathematical models of typical 3D fashioned knitted fabrics arefounded according to the fashioned principle and knitting techniques. Theresults of the experiments are analyzed by scientific methods. The influences onthe qua1ity of 3D weft knitted fabrics are discussed in detail. The knittingtechniques of 3D sandwich fabrics and that of 3D fashioned fabrics arecombined to produce the fashioned knitted fabrics Which have real 3D sthucture on the computerized flat knitting machine. The knitting principle and method ofthe real 3D fashioned knitted fabrics are introduced. The quality of 3D fashinedknitted fabrics is improved grealty by applying the knitting method introducedin this paper. This research take a good effect on the applications of 3Dfashioned knitted fabrics in the technical fabrics fields.
