The Research On The Problem And Countermeasure Of Eco-town Urbanization

With the high speed growth of economy development since the reform and opening policy in China, that is speeding up the urbanization and altering deeply the social structure with the standard of living has been fully improved for the residents in both of urban and rural. But with the rapid urbanization process, the problem of ecological environment has arisen obviously along with the public health incident coming up, such as atmospheric haze and pollution of water resource in different regions that cause the living of people has been affected and threatened. People begin to rethink profoundly of the traditional urbanization model by valuing and strengthening the environment appeal. How to keep the natural environment and cities and human into the organic integration and positive interaction, then to make them to be in a sustainable development? This concept proposes the demand for the development of Chinese urbanization in the future, and pointed out the direction, has important strategic significance for construction of beautiful China.This paper uses normative study method and case method, with “The research on the Predicament and Countermeasure of Eco-town Urbanization —— Taking Hua-shan Eco-town in Wu-han for Example” named. Firstly, the relevant theories of the ecological urbanization are expounded based on reviewing on the domestic and foreign literature. Secondly, the history and achievements made by the development of urbanization are briefly summarized. Thirdly, the serious pollution and destruction of ecological environment are caused by the urbanization have been described. Then the ecological urbanization connotation and necessity have been emphasized.This paper select Hua-shan eco-town in Wu-han as a case, taking construction background, major measures and construction result carried on the thorough analysis, so as to induce the main problems of the ecological urbanization forward in the process. These problems embodied in- the ideological understanding inconsistent between government and residents; inadequate interest coordination between across regions; insufficient recognition of the construction of environmental protection; the lagging behind of related laws and institutions.On the basis of investigation and research, the paper keep the full affirmation of the positive results and effective experiences made in the construction of ecological town, at the same time, the thorough analysis carried on the main problems existing in the process of the ecological urbanization forward, aiming at these problems puts forward the corresponding countermeasure and the suggestion. Social and residents to establish ecological idea; Advocate green and healthy way of life; Expanding services to improve urban competitiveness; Efforts to develop and build ecological industry; Strengthening social supervision and safeguard; strive to improve the quality and efficiency of ecological urban construction, in order to better promote the construction of the ecological urbanization development in our country.
