| Nowadays, ordinary machine tools are still used widely in our country, with the development of NC technology, demanding for NC machine tools becomes higher, NC transformation of the existing ordinary machine tool, on the one hand, it can reduce the cost; on the other hand, machine tool NC transformation belongs to the category of the green manufacturing, it can realize the recovery and secondary utilization of resources.In this paper, the target is to carry out the NC transformation of machine tool based on open NC system in such context, mainly completed two aspects research content, the mechanical part transformation and the open NC system development. The fundamental task of machine tool NC transformation is to transform the ordinary machine tools into NC machine tools, NC machine tools have the advantage that it can complete the processing of complex surfaces, meanwhile it also can finished automatic processing. Mechanical part transformation completed shcemes design of the overall transformation, including the reconstruction design of X axis, Z axis and spindle part, the machine’s electric tool seat, ball screws, couplings and servo motor calculation and selection; In addition, the finite element method is applied to complete the modal analysis of the whole structure of machine tool. The development of open NC system is to design and develop NC system software, it solve the shortcomings of enclosed structure of traditional NC machine, establish an reconfigurable and unified system tools platform, enhanced flexibility and adaptability of the system. Open NC system adopts the "PC + Motion control card" structure form, GTS series motion controllers was used, choose Delphi software as programming tool. NC system application software has four modules as follows: status display, file management, manual mode and system settings, including reset, emergency, manual operation, single-step operation and other functions. |
