| Open CNC system has been used more and more widely, on one hand, due to its good openness and could be developed further, on the other hand, because it can reduce the production cost, shorten production cycle. In this paper, analysis and discussion of open CNC system were carried out based on its developing status all over the world. This paper aiming at open CNC system based on PC, the desktop CNC milling machine was designed, open CNC system software and hardware structure were designed and accomplished also. This paper presents a prototype of desktop milling machine based on open CNC system, the modal analysis of the machine tool structure was done by using the finite element analysis software(ANSYS), the optimized machine scheme was obtained by contrasting and analyzing different schemes. Secondly, this paper studied the structure and framework of open CNC system based on PC. The analysis of software structure under the windows system shows that windows system is more suitable for the development of numerical control system and establishing the structure of open CNC system. Again, this paper completed the hardware structure design of open CNC system based on PC, completed the connection and configuration between the motion controller, PC machine and servo system. The hardware structure of the open CNC system was designed. Finally, the application software of open CNC system was developed based on Delphi programming software, the software was tested and adjusted, and the control function of the machine tool was realized. |
