This work optimized the production of bacterial cellulose by using Plackett-Burman and Box-Behnken design, the fermentation product was characterized by fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR) and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results showed the best conditions were as follows:per 1 L vinasse immersion added:glucose 23 g, citric acid 4.5 g, yeast powder 25 g,peptone 25 g, Na2HPO4·12H2O 2 g, KH2PO4·3H2O 1 g, MgSO4·7H2O 0.2 g, inoculation amount 8%, fermentation temperature 30 ℃, fermentation time 7d,under these conditions the result of confirmatory experiment (14.44 g/L) was in good agreement with the predicted value (14.42 g/L), the production increased by 140.6% compared with 6.00 g/1 before optimization.BC reinforced PVA (poly(vinyl alcohol))/PAM (polyacrylamide) hydrogels were prepared by freezing-thaw method, PVA, PAM contents on the mechanical properties of PVA/PAM and BC/PVA/PAM hydrogels were investigated, the hydrogels were characterized by FTIR^ TGA(thermal gravimetric analyse) and SEM analyses. The mechanical test results demonstrated that the mechanical properties of the PVA/PAM hydrogels were strongly enhanced. When PAM content was 1%, the tensile strength and elongation at break of BC/PVA/PAM composites were the biggest,331.79Kpa and 105.33% respectively, the tensile strength increased when the PVA content increased. The swelling ratio and chitosan-uploading abilities of BC/PVA/APM were investigated. The antibacterial properties of BC/PVA/PAM nanofibers were tested against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E.coli). The results showed that the chitosan-loading capacity of the BC/PVA/PAM dry film was the biggest 2.39mg/cm2 when soaked in a 2.0% chitosan solution with a high saline solution absorption capacity 3289%, With respect to the antimicrobial effect, BC/PVA/PAM composites showed better antimicrobial activity against S. aureus.
