The existing distiller’s yeast press machine was mainly divided into twokinds of linear transmission and rotary transmission in the domestic. The lineartransmission mostly adopt chain drive to drive model box, realize intermittencetransmission of distiller’s yeast. But the existence of polygon effect in chaindrive, the meshing impact and noise is too high. The overall performance ofrotary transmission has a great progress by comparison. But the existing rotarytransmission distiller’s yeast press machine mostly adopt rigid brake, with littlepositioning accuracy, fix position often appear turntable over-turn or less-turn.The combination process between turntable and heavy hammer is instability.This paper aimed at the current weakness of distiller’s yeast press machine,summarized and referenced the principle of domestic distiller’s yeast pressmachine. Based on the technology of traditional distiller’s yeast, a distiller’syeast press machine with simple structure was designed, it has high stability,accurate positioning, and can satisfied the more and more high request of winemaking of our country.In the process of distiller’s yeast making, turntable repeat dividingmovement. Base on this, the paper put forward to use the globoidal camindexers to control the turntable and realize turntable dividing movement. Two stage gear transmission was used to get the angle of turntable dividingmovement. Through calculating, the gear teeth, modulus and pressure anglewere determined. Through analyzing and contrasting, determine the motion lawof globoid cam was revised sine. And the mathematical software MATLAB wasused to build globoid cam general mathematical model. The three-dimensionaldesign software Pro/E was used to build model of drive system and machineframe.According to working condition of distiller’s yeast press machine, the paperfigure out resisting moment computation formula. Using Adams to make avirtual prototype simulation. Analyzing positioning accuracy and contact stressunder different load or rotation rate. Checking the feasibility of drive systemthrough the results of simulation.MATLAB/Simulink power electronics module was used to build cammotor control system, Which including frequency conversion system,PID-Fuzzy velocity-controlled system, SPWM pulse width modulation system,detective system and so on. The Simscape physical module was used to build thehydraulic system of machine and make a mechanics-electronics-hydraulicscombined simulation of control system and hydraulic system.A industrial experiment was done in the end of this paper, the aim isthrough a series experiments to confirm the practicability of cam indexersrevolving distiller’s yeast press machine. The result showed that this machinehave a high productive efficiency, produce high quality distiller’s yeast, cansatisfy all requirements of Fenjiu distiller’s yeast production completely.
