The Application Of Paper-cutting Element In The Light Design

In nowadays, an increasing number of people has paid their attentions to our Chinese national culture, traditional paper-cut mechanics as a typical example of national cultural precipitation should be fully applied into various design fields. This papert aims to study the application of paper cutting element in the lighting design field, using literarture retrieval method,investigation method to analyse the basic concept, application backgtound and artistic charcteristics of decorative lighting. According to the different types of the application of papper-cut, this paper summarized from paper cutting’s subject, application location, method and region to analyse present status of paper cutting element applied in different fields. In the meantime, provide some inspiration and reference to paper cutting applied in decorative lighting design. According to the style of lighting, types of lighting, lighting materials and the type of application scenarios, the status of the application of lighting design were studied, and summed up the types of lighting in the lighting design which meets paper cutting applications.Based on the concept of industrial design, paper-cutting elements emphasize functionality and aesthetic features in lighting design; based on the aethetic theory, summarizing the paper-cutting element in the lighting design to break up the reconstruction, abstraction, pattern structure constitutes a group contract method. Researching on how to direct, imagery, and using symbolic forms to highlight the performance form of paper-cutting elements. From the perspective of paper-cut patterns, using paper-cutting element figure to create artistic conception; from the perspective of the subject, to create different decorative effects by changing the theme of the paper-cutting element; from the material point of view, using the paper-cutting elements of shade to highlight the texture of the material effects. In addition, by paper cutting element with shade and lighting design, application methods are summed up in a paper-cutting elements of lighting.
