Transparent Material Application In The Books Design

In the long river of human history, the books are a carrier of human civilization. The past few traditional books to the material, but the characteristics of the material itself can bring people a different visual experience, different materials to show different visual effects, to express different ideological content. By the study of materials and the attempt of design, as far as possible play the role of different material to different visual communication of the book content, change people’s visual perception for books.How to take advantage of new materials, new technology, new effects for book design become a new topic I want to study, this study focus on the choice of different transparent materials and the innovation of different design forms. This study divided into two aspects: to obtain the transparent performance of the desired effect books by studying the properties of the transparent material, to obtain a synergistic effect based on across space visual of transparent material. By the study of transparent material graphic overlay design, the different visual effects are obtained.This paper revolves around how transparent material is applied to the researches on the visual performance of books.Started with the choice of transparent materials, the paper show the graphic elements overlay design on transparent material different from the traditional book design. The related research on the characteristics of different transparent materials and the overlay mode of different graphic elements are introduced. And the paper focus on book content showed by graphic design on the transparent material, improve books better express what you want to express, bring a new visual experience.
