| The research studied the current situation and problems of environment protection and living garbage collection in rural China. It played an important role that leaded GIS into the location selection plan under the background of comprehensive management of rural environment.The research site selected Dongping town in Hunan province, it introduced the natural environmental and economic development conditions, and fundamental state of rural roads construction and the residential area, it described the number and composition of the current environment problems. The research used spatial analysis methods of ArcGIS10.0through GIS platform, it expounded the influencing factors and relevant calculation methods of the development of rural living garbage collection. The site selection of rural living garbage collection considered not only the convenience of residents and transportation, but also considered the construction of garbage collecting sites and the impact to the surrounding environment. It selected the optimal garbage collecting station in Dongping Town, it divided into groups through the methods of lattice and cluster analysis, and screened suitable location area of Dongping town rural living garbage, and outputed visual location map.The research analyzed the two schemes of location selection from the different grouping methods. It indicated that the grid method was superior to the scheme of clustering analysis for location selection project in residents concentration areas, considered the number and the coverage of garbage collection, otherwise the clustering analysis of grouping was superior to the grid grouping scheme in medium and decentralized residential areas. |
