The Innovative Application And Research Of Hanfu Collar In Modern Chinese Costume

Under the backdrop of returning traditional dress culture, the Chinese_style dresses based on the Chinese culture combined with modern lifestyle are more and more appearing on the design stage. Hanfu, China’s major traditional clothing style, can be the mostcomprehensive, integrated reflection of the heavy Chinese cultural foundation and represent the characteristics of China’s traditional culture, due to the unique influence and representation of the dress image. Hanfu is reused by the fashion design industry. They designed outstanding works, by brilliantly combine Hanfu style elements with Modern design.Hanfu collar element,with the national exclusivity and the unique beauty form, have became an important direction for designers concerned and design symbols reflects national costume culture.Since the excessively simple and one-sided understanding of traditional dress and culture,lots of domestic fashion designer turn the connotation of Chinese traditional costume into asymbol, turn the moral of the culture into simple decoration and false imitation. They disruptedthe self-organized culture background of Chinese costume and the connotation. In this way, itis hard to integrate Hanfu collar element with the dress form of the modern lifestyle. Hanfucollar left a somewhat fuddy-duddy impression on consumers. It is lack of integration withthe mainstream of lifestyle.First of all, based on Hanfu collar element, a design language was researched in this thesisby analyzing their applications and categories in traditional cultural background. Itoffered references for the design of modern Chinese costume. The second, analyzing theapplication of Hanfu collar element in modern Chinese costume on it’s values.Providing references for Hanfu collar element in the modern Chinese costume design. The third,it was summarized and analyzed into three attributes from the trend of new modern Chinesecostume conception: Concise and vogue, abstraction, culture concept. These provide a designleading to reveal the specific method, the way to express it’s artistic conception, and theinnovative principle; to explore the balance between traditional dress culture and modern design;to research the balance between Hanfu collar element and the inside of Chinese traditional culture in modern life; to explore it’s fitness in modern life in cultural, features, concepts,aesthetic; to offer an instruction to modern Chinese costume lifestyle.Finally, it was analyzed the design expression of collar element in different lifestyle, to finda design way, to describe the way how traditional clothe element matches the modern lifestyle.
