| The notched lapel is a widely used foundation type in clothing for men andwomen,originated in Menswear in the eighteenth Century;the styling of it is typical andrepresentative,the technical is stronger,the structure is more complex.This paper mainly studiesthe transformation design of the notched lapel in modern women’s wear,analysis the basicmodeling of the notched lapel which is based on the case analysis and designpractice,systematically expounds about the basic modeling methods as well as transformationdesign methods has been given to the notched lapel in modern women’s wear,combined withstructural elements of the notched lapel and the influence factors of the notched lapel Stylingchanges as well as design method,to investigate the form of innovation about the notched lapelafter the use of transformation design methods,and then to summarize the form of transformationdesign of the notched lapel in modern women’s wear;finally through the practice link ofwomen’s wear design,the paper tests and practicals all the design methods.In part,this newresearch enriches the design language of clothing,enhances design thinking path ofclothing,provides guidelines for the design of Styling changes.It consists of three parts:Part1(Chapter1and Chapter2)------The summarized of the notched lapel’s origins andstructure characteristics are based on the research background,research purpose,researchsignificance and content of the framework;the influence factors of Styling changes and collarcombination with other type of the notched lapel is sorted out based on research data on theextensive collection.Part2(Chapter3,Chapter4and Chapter5)------The paper mainly studiesthe transformation design of the notched lapel in modern women’s wear through twoaspects,which is consist of the basic modeling methods and the design methods,and combinedwith a large number of practice to analysis and demonstration;analyzing the form oftransformation about the notched lapel from graphic decoration effect,the three-dimensionalgraphics stress effect and the surface pattern texture effect,combined with dress-making andfashion show to analyze the notched lapel’s application value and significance in the modernwomen’s wear;Part3(Chapter6)grounded on the theoretical analysis and Summary document forfuture design,to provide some design wizard for the designer through the combination of theoryand practice, expand the fashion design thinking,In order to extend the fashion design thinking.
