For the traditional dyeing of polyester fabric, lots of water were used in thedyeing process in soaping process, what’s more, dyeing auxiliaries and dyescontaining residual waste, and many of residual contaminants from it. Therefore, theeffective ways to solve the problems of pollution and dyeing industry is explorationanhydrous dyeing or using less water in dyeing, and reducing waste emissions. Thedevelopment of eco-polyester fabric dyeing technology is the future trend ofdevelopment.D5is environmentally and friendly. Some studies have shown that in the field oftextile dyeing, D5has enormous potential as a dyeing medium. Based on the highboiling point of D5, D5can be achieved high temperature under atmosphericconditions; Disperse dyes have a certain solubility and dispersion in D5, Thus thestaining can be without adding dispersant, and choice the pure disperse. So, the paperstudy on the dyeing of PET in D5medium under high temperature and normalpressure for the following research areas:(1)Compared the color shade of dye by UV-visible spectrophotometer, D5molecular structure by H1NMR, polyester fiber molecular structure by IR before andafter the dyeing in D5medium under high temperature and normal pressure, Theresults show that there is no effect on the three staining methods; Observed by amicroscope3D after staining, dye uniformly distributed on the fibers and darkercolored; So the staining method is feasible. Adding bulking agent X can largelyincrease the dye adsorption amount in the dyeing process, and determining the basicrange of dyeing temperature is130℃-160℃.(2)Through single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, the bestdyeing conditions of disperse ruby167and disperse blue183is: fabric1g, dosage of disperse0.8%(o.w.f), bath ratio1:10, bulking agents X0.5ml, temperature of dyeing150℃, holding time50-60min. Testing the fabric after dyeing, the results show thatdyed fabrics have good color fastness, and the rating of fastness is more than four. The dyed fabrics’ dye adsorption is higher than conventional water bath. Themechanical properties of fabric is not affected.(3)Study on the kinetics of dyeing in D5medium under high temperature andnormal pressure, and drawing out the dye uptake rate curve. The results show that: therate of dye uptake, and apparent diffusion coefficient increases with increasingtemperature; the activation energy of diffusion of the dye are as follows: disperse ruby167is13.50J/mol, and disperse blue183is14.85J/mol.(4)Study on the thermodynamic of dyeing in D5medium under hightemperature and normal pressure, The thermodynamic parameters were determinedfor each of the two dyes are: the distribution coefficients of disperse blue183at130℃and150℃is22.1757,26.4767, and the dyeing affinity is10.387KJ/mol,11.526KJ/mol; the distribution coefficients of disperse ruby167at130℃and150℃is23.2568、28.2209, and the dyeing affinity is10.546KJ/mol、11.750KJ/mol; Dyeing inD5under high temperature and normal pressure, for disperse blue183, dyeing heat is-452.104KJ/mol, dyeing entropy is-1.095KJ/mol; and for disperse ruby167,dyeing heat is-460.004KJ/mol, dyeing entropy is-1.114KJ/mol.
