Chinese ink painting has a history of more than thousand years, culture connotation is rich and profound, is an important part of the Chinese nation traditional culture in our country. In the high-tech development in today’s society, a variety of cultural exchange, collision, in this context should get more traditional cultural heritage and development, it represents our history and connotation of the Chinese nation. This paper first studies the concept, characteristics and classification of the Chinese ink and wash, observation in the current clothing works several forms of Chinese ink painting, hand-painted, embroidery and digital printing is common. Respectively from the aspects of color, pattern and style a few to see how garment masters call the traditional Chinese ink and wash painting art in dress design.
