Assessment Of The Ecological Environmental Impact Of Highway Reconstruction Projects Related To Nature Reserve

Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy develops rapidly, people’s living continues to improve, the number of cars has also increased, due to the low design standards and other reasons, many old highways which were constructed in the 1980s and 1990s face many problems now, such as lack of capacity, so urgently need of reconstruction and expansion. With the further advance of highways reconstruction and expansion in recent years, projects related to nature reserves grow rapidly, the conflict between the highwaysprojects and the protection of ecological environment of the nature reserves will be inevitable.This paper firstly makes a theoretical explanation and discussion of investigation and impact assessment methods and content of ecological environment of highways construction projects, emphasizes the procedures, main contents nd keys of the ecological environmental impact assessment of highway reconstruction project related to the nature reserve.Then takes the highway reconstruction projects from Daofu to Ergali as an example, through collecting large amounts of data and on-site survey, carries out a detailed investigation of the ecological situation of the evaluation region, with the help of ecological mechanism analysis, landscape ecology method and comprehensive evaluation index method and other methods, makes an assessment of the ecological environment status and the ecological environmental impact may be caused by the construction and operation of the projects, especially focuses on the investigation of the ecological situation and the impact assessment of the Taining and Yuke Nature Reserve of Sichuan Province, and then proposes targeted preventive measures.The research shows that if there’s no any ecological environmental protection measures in the construction of highway reconstruction projects related to nature reserve, it will make great impact on the regional ecological environment, if take green recovery, rational arrangement temporary works, set up animal traffic area and other ecological environmental protection measures, the impact can significantly reduce. It emphasizes the important of the ecological environmental protection measures in the highway reconstruction projects related to nature reserve.This paper can rovide some reference for the assessment of the ecological environmental impact of highway reconstruction projects related to nature reserve, also provide a scientific basis for the work of highway reconstruction design department and nature reserve management department.
