As a main secondary pollutant, the leachate is well concerned in incinerator,for whose treatment has a great influence in both the level of garbage disposaland economic benefit. With the leachate treatment process in Yixing municipalsolid waste incineration plant as an engineering case, the characteristic ofleachate was analysed, and the treatment process was studied and optimized byexperiments, which was intentioned to find an effective and stable method forleachate treatment and improve the leachate treatment level.After analyzing the inflow water quality and the effect of leachate treatmentin a long time, it is proved that the process (coagulation precipitation/ammoniastripping-UBF-SBR-ultrafiltration-nanofiltration) has a good treatment withleachate, for the annual mean CODcr and NH3-N concentration of the effluentcould decline to84mg/L and2mg/L respectively with the annual mean CODcrand NH3-N concentration of the inflow at39024mg/L and1419mg/L respectively.And CODcris mainly removed in anaerobic phase with71.73%CODcrromovedconsidering all CODcrremoved, while NH3-N is mainly removed in ammoniastripping and aerobiotic phase, whose removal rate is56.88%and42.34%respectively.The influence of coagulation precipitation and ammonia stripping onfollow-up phase was studied, and it was proved that ammonia stripping had noinfluence in nitrogen removal of the process, while it helped increasing theCODcrremoval by7%in anaerobic phase.The influence of SS concentration on the stability of ultrafiltration processwas studied, it was proved that the SS concentration need be controlled at lessthan3g/L and1.5g/L when the flux was10L/m2.h and15L/m2.h respectively.The invest and operating cost in Yixing municipal solid waste incinerationplant were calculated, and it is fouded that the leachate treatment process has acertain investment profit when leachate treatment receives the same subsidywith garbage treatment.
