The risk of disease has a positive correlation with its concentration. It is very important to reduce the concentration of the harmful gases to institute a more health environment.The study of reduction indoor harmful gas concentration are focus on the control the pollution,enhance indoor air ventilation and prolong the residence date, but are fewer about the concentration of harmful gases of indoor and the location of the furniture.This paper contrary to the formaldehyde, the software of FLUENT was used to model the simulation of formaldehyde concentration in the office. Through the simulation research of formaldehyde, this paper could achieve the purpose of guiding the dispose of furniture,reducing the formaldehyde which is generated by decorating.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. The kinds of the decoration materials are introduced, the furniture is the key research object. The factors that affect the release of formaldehyde furniture and the release mechanism of the formaldehyde are analyzed.2. The software of FLUENT was used to model the simulation of formaldehyde concentration in the office. This research chose a office bookcase and a bureau as the source of the pollution, a formaldehyde-proliferation typical office was chosen as the main object of the research, and the model are built. These three sources of the pollution was designed, the models were established respectively. And the distribution of formaldehyde concentration is simulated in the given ventilation mode.3. In indoor and ventilated circumstance of certain mode, the indoor formaldehyde concentration are relate to the layout of furniture, Through the different program of furniture layout, Formaldehyde concentration within the local is stimulated and calculated. Point to the frequent activities local formaldehyde concentration as the reference, Best furniture interior layout scheme is obtained. Thereby reducing the body's absorption of formaldehyde4.
