Ecological Socialist Construction Of Ecological Civilization

As the Left-wing socialism thoughts, eco-socialism came into being during the Western Green Movement in 1970s and grew up in late 1980s and early 1990s. It is the combination of the socialism thoughts with new socialist movements in the west, which reflects the influence of the Marxism to the western socialism and the certain relationship between socialism and the solution of ecological crisis in the present age. As the basis of maintaining ecological balance, the core value of eco-efficiency, and the target of maintaining harmony between man and nature, it also reflects that the western socialists deepened the understanding of socialism, regarding too many new problems arising from the ecological crisis. Today, under the context of advocating sustainable development, studying eco-socialism has important practical significance, because it can help us completely understand the contemporary capitalism, develop the Marxism, stick to the belief in socialism, protect the ecological environment,establish a new way of life in accordance with the ecological civilization, and build up and further implement Scientific Concept of Development.This thesis proceeds with the concept of ecological socialism, discussing its social and historical roots, development stage, theory characteristics, progress and limitations. Based on the basic conditions of our countries, the author tries to give some inspiration to the construction of ecological civilization, according to many good economic, political and social ideas of the ecological socialism.This article focuses on the enlightenment of ecological socialism to the construction of ecological civilization. Ecological Socialism combines the maintenance of ecological balance with realization of socialism. With contemporary ecological problems as the breakthrough point, it gives a comprehensive and profound discussion of the application of the ecological ideas in the economic, political and cultural fields, and explores the system root of the ecological problems. These reasonable thoughts provide theoretical guidance to combining ecological civilization concept with economic construction, political construction and cultural construction, and thus ecological economy, ecological politics and ecological culture will come true during the construction of ecological civilization in China. These reasonable thoughts also give some enlightenments in enriching scientific development concept and realizing both modernization and environmental protection, and offers future China a new thought fulcrum and angle for its development paths.
