Study On Legal Control Of Transboundary Movements Of Electronic Wastes

This thesis aims on the study of the legal control on the transboundary movements of the electronic wastes. By analysing the existing laws, which including the international treaties and the laws of the lands, and considering the status of today's transboundary movements of the electronic wastes, the weakness of the laws are pointed out and some advices are given.The thesis is divided into four chapters:the first chapter basically introduces the concept of electronic wastes and its'harm for the environment, the status and the reasons of the transboundary movements of the electronic wastes. The second chapter is the key part, it focus on the research of the legal control on the transboundary movements of the electronic wastes, which involves some basic theories and major relevant international conventions. The third chapter study on the laws of some certain lands, including some developed countries and a developing country. The last chapter is about how to perfect the legal control system of the transboundary movements of the electronics wastes, and the author's opinion is put forward.
