Set Of Factors That Affect Environmental Issues

In recent years, various environmental problems including global warming, ozone depletion, acid rain and biodiversity degradation ect have been aggravating day by day, posing critical risks to humanity as a whole. At the meantime, they also exert significant influence on international relations and security. As environmental problems become increasingly important in international politic affairs, they draw great concern from all nations and international society.At present, the researches concerning environmental problems focus on such issues as the establishment of environmental topics, the formulation of environmental policies, the effectiveness of certain policies as well as the design of environment-related mechanisms.Environmental agenda-setting is a small part of the research.Why some problems can draw great attention from countries and the internatonal world while some can't? Why some environmental problems would be ignored at last? Those questions are all that so many researchers try to answer.Different conclusions are drwan concerning environmental agenda-setting. Most researchers categorized the determinants of the establishment of environmental topics according to the characteristics of certain environmental problems, such as its seriousness, the will of the great powers, environmental crisis and emergencies.This thesis aims to reveal the causes from a new point of veiw---recognition and human behavior of the sociology.
