Mongolian Yuan Guan Dress Culture Study

As an important component of the costume in Mongolian Yuan, Guanzhong costume of Mongolian Yuan fully proves the multiplex characteristic of Mongolian Yuan costume culture. The great number of the tangible archeological materials that have been discovered in Guanzhong provide the rich source material for this local costume research. This paper mainly utilized the tangible archeological materials of Mongolia Yuan that have been discovered in Guanzhong, such as mural, pottery figurines and so on involving costume, and related the archeological materials in the other areas in the same period.The paper, on the basis of occupying the rich archeological materials Chinese-foreign historical document record, with multi-disciplinary overlapping theory methods, studied on the archaeology, the documentation science, the history, the image, the ethnology, the historical geography and so on. First,the paper analyzed the natural environment and the humanities environment in Yuan Guanzhong in Mongolian.Next it hackled the Guanzhong costume raw material of Mongolia Yuan, from the fur class, the silk-weaving class, the cotton-hemp class and so on. Based on this, this paper focused on varieties and types of Guanzhong clothing. By the archeological materials of Guanzhong,in relation to historical document record, the paper analyzed men's and women's crown clothing, the long gown, the full clothing and so on from the male and female category's clothings. The paper also analyzed men's and women's hairstyle and the baldric of Mongolian Yuan in Guanzhong. Finally the paper summarized the brilliant locality, diversity of culture, successive and contemporary of the Guanzhong costume of Mongolian Yuan.
