Research On Horqin The Mongolian Costume Culture

Apparel is an indispensable part of human life and a material and intelligent culture.Due to the influence of social and economic development,the costume culture is facing the dilemma of decline and extinction.It is urgent and salvage to study the Horqin Mongolian costume culture of Wulan Maodu Sumu.This paper takes Wulan Maodu Sumu,the right front banner of Horqin,as a field point,through interviewing many "Wuren Erji" who love Mongolian traditional handicraft embroidery and strive for this cause in this area,and collecting many first-hand materials,and analyzing the characteristics of Mongolian costume culture in Horqin with the theory of symbolic anthropology.This thesis consists of five parts: introduction,body(three chapters),conclusions,references,and appendices.In the introduction,the selection and function,research status,research methods and innovations of the research topics are introduced.The first chapter mainly discusses the general situation of Wulan Maodu Sumu and the administrative changes of Wulan Maodu Sumu and the natural geography,social and cultural environment of Wulan Maodu Sumu and the “multi-ethnic mixed” living situation for Mongolian costumes.The influence of culture.The second chapter mainly analyses the basic form and characteristics of Wulan Maodu Sumu clothing.This paper discusses the characteristics of clothing,decoration,shoes and hats,decoration and tribe,the characteristics of cultural areas,aesthetic characteristics,gender characteristics,and power status.The third chapter mainly explains the cultural function of costumes and the symbolic meaning of costume culture from the perspective of ethnology.The conclusion mainly summarizes the contents of the first three chapters,and puts forward his own viewpoints.At the same time,it discusses the recovery of costume culture in modern society and its tendency to adapt to development in modern society.
