Necromancer plays an important role during the process of various sacrifice ceremonies of those minorities in Yunnan. In order to makethe exercise more mysterious and powerful, those necromancers always wear special gowns and take magic wares to host the ceremonies in the manner of their imagination of how the deities work. So we think the original religion gowns are the media between the deities and the human being. They are the physical and spiritual sign of the ancient religion expressing the culture of the minorities. From these gowns, we can also read out their aesthetic awareness and spirits. So it is a good way to understand the history, religion, belief, national characteristics, and aesthetic tendencies of those minorities by studying their religion gowns.The study focus of the thesis covers the style of the gowns, the aesthetic interests of the minority people, the cultural connotation and the people's psychology.Our study will begin with the following aspects:the cap model, the gown model, the magic ware model, the tattoo and body coloured drawing. The subcategories of each model are also provided in detail. Through these studies, we can divide the gowns into conscious model, subjective model, and imaginative model, formulated model and make a profound analysis.Through the study, the favor for red, the black and white on the religion gowns of the minorities in Yunnan can be clearer and the different aesthetic interests of these minorities will be clarified. Their interests are studied in two aspects:religion awareness and profit awareness.Through the study of the original beliefs by the religion gowns of Yunnan minorities, which can be called as the physical expression of the religion, we can have a good understanding of the original religions such as the theory that every thing has its spirit, nature worship, totem worship, ancestor worship, phallism. The original universe ideology, including animalization theory, Yinyang theory, origin theory and deity creation theory, will also be illustrated by the study. The gowns are the expressive symbols of the minority culture. They are the record of the national culture, epitome of the national history, marks of national prosperity.After the theoretical research of the religion gowns, the fable thinking, the aesthetic thinking, the rational thinking can be read out. All the thinking will be analyzed in detail. From the study, an imagination is very clear that the original minorities in Yunnan have eager wishes for peace, health, and happiness and the respect for their ancestors. And reverence for, reliability on, and worship for supernatural magic force are also indicated in the gowns.The religion gown is the cultural heritage of Yunnan minorities. They are not only the cultural relics and arts of the minorities but also the indication of the minorities' self-identity. The history of the religion gowns is in physical form, but they have connotation of language, behavior, psychology. The gowns are always shown in family, school, ceremony and temples. The situation of their development in the process of their modernization, the gowns and their inheritors are all in crisis. The protection measures are provided in the thesis that the gowns must be protected dynamically by the combination of alarming method, subjective and objective methods.In conclusion, the model features, aesthetics characteristics and cultural values of the religion gowns in Yunnan minorities are also indications of minorities psychology. From this!perspective, we wish the study of the original religion gowns will reach a new phase in the future. |
