The thesis is based on the University of Electronic Science and Technology Qingshuihe Campus WebGIS project, which is our lab cooperate with the Ministry of information construction of University of Electronic Science and Technology Qingshuihe campus. It is an autonomous project.In the process of building a virtual campus, the people who participate in the construction found that, some attribute information can be introduced with a simple text descriptions, but there is a geographical location, graphics and other information, such information can not use simple words to describe . Therefore, in order to be more intuitive for users to understand the school profile, would be that non-property presents the information more directly. Professional geographic information system will solve this problem, it can better and more direct description of school district Objects, functions and other information. Combinated the network, geographic information system can through a simple web page to show the performance of the school vividly.The target of this project is inputed all the spatial data of the campus of the University of Electronic Science and Technology into databases, and by B / S way to show on the school website. Therefore, my main job is to do data processing. As the original drawings for the CAD graphics, not directly available data types, so they need to use ArcGIS software platform for data format conversion. Very large amount of data throughout the campus, which makes data-processing part of the time spent longer. Specific works include that, input graphic data, classification layer, multi-layer binding and so on.After data processing is completed, the map function is also required the secondary development, which for the teachers and students to facilitate the simple application of the map. Currently, the Geographic Information System of the University of Electronic Science and Technology Qingshuihe campus has taken shape, after tested, the map display and function can work properly.
