Network Based On The Integration Of Arcgis And Envi Remote Sensing Image Data Publishing And Sharing

Now remote sensing has been applied to all fields of life. The remote sensing applications have been in agriculture, forestry, land, water conservancy, urban construction, environmental, mapping, transportation, meteorology, oceanography, earth science, etc.Science and Technology of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) begins in the twentieth century late sixties, it is in the computer software and hardware support, using of systems engineering and information science theory to manage and comprehensive geographic data. Geographic Information Systems within the last 30 years has made remarkable development, are widely used in resource surveys, environmental assessment, disaster prediction, land management, urban planning, post and telecommunications, transportation, military police, water electricity, public facilities management, agriculture, forestry animal husbandry, statistics, commerce and finance in almost all areas. At present, the mainstream of development in this area is mainly to achieve integration of GIS & RS. The integration of GIS and RS, in order to achieve the different formats of data published through the network provides a platform for sharing.In this paper, by studying the currently world's mainstream GIS software, ArcGIS, and RS software, ENVI, to do the research which is based on ArcGIS and ENVI integration technology. Mainly discusses research in the integration of remote sensing image web publishing service and sharing.
