In accordance with the "Beijing Urban Master Plan (year 2004 -2020)", Beijing mountain is in ecological conservation areas, it is to maintain a favorable environment for the important ecological barriers, it is to ensure that the key to sustainable development in Beijing region. However, due to historical reasons, large-scale mining, industrial and agricultural activities, urban construction, road building and tourism development so that the original ecological environment areas have been seriously damaged in Beijing mountainous. Interference outside and damage and natural disasters coupled with the degradation of mountain ecosystems, so mountain ecosystem conservation and restoration work can not be ignored. In this paper, the Beijing mountain as a big ecosystems is studied, the use of RS technologies on the ecological degradation of mountain conditions of the remote monitoring of the dynamic, given explanatorily the ecological degradation monitoring indicators and calculation methods, the degradation of mountain ecosystems derived monitoring results, and in accordance with the monitoring results to identify the main reason for the degradation of mountain ecosystems. To conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the extent of degradation of mountain ecosystems and the spatial distribution, used of GIS technology and results of the monitoring data, as a follow-up the basis for ecological restoration planning and reference.Based on dynamic monitoring of the degradation of the mountains and the basis of a comprehensive evaluation, descriptor the rehabilitation of mountain ecosystems in Beijing planning content, principles, objectives and content, and have to focus on ecological restoration of the mine planning, water and soil erosion control planning, protection of vegetation recovery planning, and given the appropriate space zoning, kind of use, repair engineering and technology development, as well as the guide means and strategies for the restoration , Finally, the implementation of the safeguard mechanism.
