As a complex and enormous engineering systems, highwayengineering will meet much more complicated Geological Hazard thannormal during its constructing and operating.Doing research on Road'sGeological Hazard Information Management System base on GIS will dogreat signification on The Road's Geological Hazard InformationManagement, SystemRoad's Geological Hazard survering and forcasting. In this pager, In allusion to inadequate data and a long constructioncycle in Geological Hazard Information Management System, combiningthe characters of highway geological hazard, we resolved a series of keytechniques of Information Management System for highway geologicalhazard, the following research and achievements have been done:1 The platfloor of "Road's Geological Hazard InformationManagement System base on GIS" was constructed, and we have alsofinished the whole design, including the platfloor of hardware, softwareand design of the system's structure function.2 Data organizing: in allusion to the trait of huge data andexcessive source for highway geological hazard, in this paper,we areputting forward metadata standard on highway geological hazard toguarantee the data's criterion, it make the integration, management, maintenance, distributive service and communion of data moreexpediently.3 Base on road's Geological Hazard medata standard, we haveEmpopldered attribute database managing system. This system canestablish and edit the attribute database box automatically, what's more, according to the edited database it can finish the inputing and outputtingof the data at the same time. Making using of the attribute databasemanaging syatem guaranteed the criterion of database operation muchmore,.4 we have adopted ArcSDE to manage the GIS spacial data, specialdata and attribute data and save in Oracle database, in this way, achievingconnecting of special data and attribute data 5 In the paper we have also adopted ArcObjecs to re-develop thesystem, guaranteeing the system's ductibility and opening.
