Monosomic additional line of Beta corolliflora (CCCC,2n=4x=36) in B.vulgaris(VV,2n=18) was obtained from the intercross of the two species(Beta corollifloraƗB.vulgaris). It contained eighteen chromosomes from Beta vulgaris and the additionalB.corolliflora Zoss chromosome 9. The cytology study indicated that the transmissionfrequency of monosomic additional line was 96.73% on average, for stable and highrate. The embryology study indicated that monosomic additional line was facultativeapomixis, which reproduced by the diplospory mainly and gamogenesis secondarily.But the DNA molecular genetic evidences were required to certificate the apomixis andthe homogenicity of the plant lines of the monosomic additional line.The genetic variances of the self-pollination plant lines of the sugar beet wereanalyzed with SSR and AFLP to provide the molecular genetic evidences of thepropagative ways. If a plant line completely consistent with the maternal plant wasfound, it would offer materials for studying the molecular mechanism of apomixis,inheriting character and cloning apomixis gene. The research was important for workingon the genetic resource. The main results were showed below:1,The difference of the transmission frequency possibity existed in different plantlines of the additional monosomic line. It was necessary to select the sugar beet materialin order to get the plant lines with high and stable transmission frequency for studyingthe apomixis mechanism and cloning the genes.2,The additional monosomic line of the sugar beet were not found to generate theclone that the genotype was same as the maternal plant based on the SSR and AFLPanalysis within this study. 3,Compared with AFLP, SSR was better to valuate the DNA recombination of thesugar beet line during the process of the seed propagation.4,The stable and pragmatic SSR reaction system had been built in sugar beet.
